Dr. Liza Swedarsky created Health Vows and the Health Vows Program inspired by her passion for serving and educating women over the past twenty-six years.

Health Vows guides women through seven key vows rooted in self-advocacy. Research shows these vows can increase mindfulness and impact women’s healthcare choices and behaviors, resulting in improved health outcomes, preventive screening participation, screening guidelines compliance, early disease detection, and heightened health literacy.

Find time to engage in a peaceful activity every day. Whatever “peace” means to you, make time to fully experience it.

I Promise to Be an Active Participant in the Patient-Doctor Relationship

You should be the most invested person in your healthcare journey and health outcomes. Partner with your Physician and Providers!

Be informed and keep record of what happens concerning your body. It is important for you to know your medical history and inform your Doctors who can advocate for you.
