Women’s Health & Empowerment

Training

Dr. Liza customizes workshops and seminars to raise consciousness, empower through education and transform one’s approach to living healthily. She places the needs, concerns, and values of your organization and the women you serve at the core of each carefully crafted experience.

The Health Vows Program

Since 2014 Dr. Liza has facilitated the Health Vows Program nationally and internationally, in person and virtually, providing evidence based research that the seven health vows and the Health Vows program increases mindfulness and positively impacts women’s health care choices and behaviors resulting in better health outcomes, compliance with screening guidelines, early detection, and heightened health literacy.

Each workshop can be facilitated in 90 minutes

The entire program can span seven weeks or be administered over two days

The program covers the following topics:

Honoring My Body: Approaching Health with Self-Acceptance

Embracing Your Body’s Intuitive Power

Vowing to Choose Happiness and Peace Daily

Pursuing Healthcare with Intention-Being an Active Participant in the Patient-Doctor Relationship

“In the Know” Owning my Health Story and Journey

Being a Self-Advocate: Making My Life and Health a Priority

Honoring My Body by Eating Healthily, Prioritizing Sleep and Being Active

3-hour Trainings:

Identifying and Reframing Fear

Fear can be paralyzing or a catalyst for change. Many individuals ignore signs and symptoms of physical and mental discord due to fear of the unknown.  This can lead to poor health outcomes and affect your quality of life.

Participants will be guided to identify their fears pertaining to their lives and health and strategies to reframe the mind to move beyond and take action. This session uncovers the root causes of Fear and helps one understand how fear impacts health.

What Kind of Patient are You?

Most individuals approach their healthcare rooted with conscious beliefs and patterns that may positively or negatively affect their experiences and health outcomes.  During this session participants will deeply reflect on belief systems that impact how one perceives their healthcare options and  providers.  This session explores strategies to activate personal power to influence and optimize changes that lead to living healthily.

Participants will explore four patient prototypes Dr. Liza has identified and specifically reflect on how one’s thinking directly impacts their healthcare journey.

Identifying Conscious Healers and Health Partners

Participants are supported with tools aimed at optimizing interactions with complex healthcare systems and providers.  Strategies to empower you to be prepared, intentional, grounded, focused and goal-oriented patient consumers will change your perspective and encourage self-advocacy.

At a time when the world was forced to pause and prioritize health and well-being, my participation in the Health Vows program could not have been more timely. While under a state-mandated quarantine, I was still recovering from a health issue the year before, trying to move forward and figure out…

Participating in Health Vows absolutely changed my life in a positive way. I’d say one of the greatest impacts it had on me is living (and parenting) in Love, not Fear. I’ve called upon this aspect of the program several times. The sense of doing what I can and then believing there is a plan bigger…

Taking the Health Vows Workshops inspired me to find the courage to alter my career path and start my own business. I’m also practicing mindfulness and meditation more every day. I can’t recommend this workshop enough! I looked forward to it so much, it was like medicine.

I am so happy that I decided to participate in the Health Vows Workshop! I have learned to be more “intentional” with myself, whether that is by spending time alone, meditating, learning to love and care about myself, or by being proactive in making sure that I am more of a self-advocate in takin…
